About me
Hi, I’m Alicia, a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner based in Hampshire, UK. My primary focus is to assist clients in effectively managing and ultimately reversing their chronic skin conditions.
Many years ago, I was suffering from rosacea, a very stubborn and intimidating skin condition. It is thanks to the battle (also emotional) with rosacea that I found a determination to nurture my health. I didn't want to live on medication and feel frustrated about another miraculous cream that didn't work. I wanted to heal naturally. I wanted to completely reverse my condition.
For many months, I immersed myself in medical studies, read countless articles, and listened to stories of those who managed to heal their rosacea, eczema or psoriasis. Slowly but surely, things started to make sense. So, I started putting everything I had learnt into action. I gradually improved my diet, started paying closer attention to my sleep habits, actively working on reducing my stress levels and incorporating gentle physical activity into my daily routine. The results of this holistic approach completely exceeded my expectations; not only did my skin heal within six months, but my mental health and my zest for life improved so much.
Four years have passed since I became entirely rosacea-free. During that time, I published a book detailing my journey to healing rosacea (“Healing Rosacea” is available on Amazon) and completed a Nutritional Therapy course. I’m now fully qualified to assist others suffering from chronic skin conditions, just as I once did. My goal is to empower individuals to manage their skin disorders effectively through the best nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
My work
So, what exactly do I do in my Nutritional Therapy practice?
Well, firstly, I want to get to know you as a person; I want to learn as much as possible about your lifestyle, realistic diet, and your health (including mental health) struggles. Then, I want to educate you on why you have potentially developed your chronic skin condition and what you can do about it. My job is to put all the puzzles together and deliver a practical action plan: diet, supplements, and lifestyle tailored to your needs and circumstances. I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for you as my client to enable you to heal and improve your overall health.
If you’re interested in working with me, don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m sure that together, we can rise to the challenge that your body gives you in the form of a skin disorder. I’m looking forward to meeting you.
